Artist's Description
This image was taken at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, VA overlooking Richmond and the James River. Hollywood has been the final resting place for prominent Virginians for over 150 years and is well worth visiting. I found this haunting beauty in mid-November nestled in one of the last remaining stands of maples still showing off their fall colors. Although it is modest by comparison to many of the surrounding memorials, it was at this moment a site to behold in these fleeting of golden leaves and crisp November air.

This image has a contrast and light valve that evokes many feelings, the fall leaves, the sky, the way the light plays, all I can say is...Bravo!
